A young woman is unresponsive in her home. The paramedics work on her. Manual resuscitation and chest compressions are given with no response. They uses the defibrillator intermittently. Finally, they revive her.

At the hospital she is being monitored. She is confused and has a breathing tube. She wants her mom. Soon, she codes again. The team work on her for a while—breathing, resus, defib, until they finally call time, unhook the leads and cover her up.
