Det. Love was no rookie, but it was still hard to see a young life so violently ended. Mary Jane, 18, found dead in her own bedroom, an apparent strangulation victim with signs of sexual assault. While the detective didn’t directly know the poor girl, she had gone to the same college as her son. She had even seen her promising acrobatic skills at one of their football games. Now, she would never shake her pom-poms again.

Taking photos of the crime scene, Det. Love tried to focus on the clues available, grateful for the analytical part of her brain to take over. She could mourn the girl’s untimely passing, but getting justice was more important. Nothing would bring Mary Jane back, but maybe she could make sure her murderer would be punished for his crimes. After she had secured the evidence, she placed plastic bags over the hands of the cheerleader’s corpse, to preserve any tissues under the fingernails, which would be scraped in the morgue.

Hours later, after the body had been transported to the medical examiner’s office, Det. Love steels herself to examine the brutalized victim once more. Donning gloves and a lab coat, she cuts the clothes off of the young girl’s body, exposing her big, firm tits and once-virginal pussy. The body is scrutinized in exquisite detail, before it is cut open for an internal exam. Perhaps we’ll never know if the young cheerleader’s killer will ever be brought to justice, but it won’t be for Det. Love’s lack of trying, that’s for sure.
